Terms & Conditions

You have clothes that need cleaning, and it is our goal at Green Laundromat Boston to do the job with the utmost care, quality, and convenience. We use the most modern equipment available and give each of your garments the individual care it deserves.

By purchasing online, you agree to the following terms and conditions; these terms and conditions are subject to change, and while we try to keep our customers as up-to-date as possible with any changes, it is your responsibility, the customer, to review these terms before purchasing any service.

If you are not 100% satisfied with our services, if any of your items are missing, or to report any damage to your garments, you must contact our customer service number (857) 361-8331 within 24 hours of your scheduled delivery date and time. After this period, claims will not be honored.

Our wash/dry/fold service is for a 15-pound minimum. Bags will be weighed at our facility. Green Laundromat Boston will not honor any weighing disputes, nor will we issue any refunds for claims involving freight weight.

At Green Laundromat Boston, we individually inspect each item in the facility before and after processing and do our best to find any items that may have been forgotten by a customer in pockets or other areas of the laundry. However, Green Laundromat Boston is not responsible for any items left in pockets, such as feathers or other items that may damage clothing during the washing or drying processes. Additionally, any item that is deliberately torn or damaged, such as jeans, denim, etc., by the garment manufacturer or the customer, can never be included in any damage claim for any reason.

All of our wash/dry/double cycles use cold washes. This means we will never honor any claims of shrinkage, color fading, or color mixing. All of these occur to some degree in all laundry processes and will never be considered a form of damage by Green Laundromat Boston. Additionally, some stains cannot be removed in a cold wash. We don’t promise to remove any stains, but be sure to detect any stain with an extracting substance and liquid and check the stain before drying.

By placing any item in your laundry or dry cleaning bags, you are guaranteeing ownership and responsibility for that item. We highly recommend not including items that do not belong to you, such as your roommates or friends, to avoid any conflicts. If you absolutely need a specific item washed, please set up a separate account for your belongings. Also, by placing an item in your laundry bag, you agree that the item may be washed, dried, and folded (for laundry orders) or dry cleaned (for dry cleaning orders). You can customize your order online and request things like air drying, etc. This is permitted, but it is the customer’s responsibility to list special notes online and ensure the notes are clear online, and air-dry items are bagged separately from regular laundry before submitting a garment that cannot be washed using our default washing technique (cold water wash and medium heat dry). No claims for hand-washed items will be honored. We try to be as gentle as possible, but we have commercial-grade machines, and shipping hand-washed items is at the customer’s risk only.

If you wish to report a missing or stolen item, you must be able to provide a specific description of the item, such as garment type, brand, color, size, and so on. While we will investigate any claim of stolen or missing items to the best of our ability, we do not offer any compensation for missing or stolen garments. Because we take such care in handling and sorting individual garments, we find that the vast majority of claims are in fact the fault of the customer improperly replacing or simply not including an item they thought was in their laundry bag. We recommend including a detailed list of all items in the bag, which will be checked upon arrival at our facility, if this is a concern. This list will not be considered a formal form of inventory, but it will help us identify the items you include. Also, please note that we are not a storage company; we cannot keep clothing for more than 90 days. After 90 days from your pickup, if you are unable to receive your delivery, we are not responsible for the laundry and it may be donated, and you will not receive compensation.

At Green Laundromat Boston, we make sure to handle and individually check all items for damage, contents, and count each item. This happens before and after the wash/dry/fold/dry cleaning process. We do not accept any financial responsibility for items left behind by customers, such as cash, jewelry, credit cards, etc. We perform extremely thorough pocket checks for any items such as ink pens, markers, highlighters, makeup, or other items that may cause serious damage to your garments, but we do not accept any responsibility for damage caused by these items. The best way to ensure this damage never occurs is to do what we do before shipping. Check each individual item before putting it in the laundry/dry cleaning bag, even if it doesn’t have pockets. And we also double-check to make sure nothing else from your garments made its way into your laundry/dry cleaning bag.

While we strive to make our service as convenient as possible, we do not accept responsibility for lost or stolen items if they are left for collection in a pre-designated area rather than a hand-to-hand exchange from customer to driver.

Once you have placed an order with Green Laundromat Boston and set a pickup and delivery date and time, you cannot change the required services within 24 hours of your scheduled pickup time. To avoid any conflicts, please be sure to schedule the work you would like us to perform carefully so that we can meet your needs to the best of our ability.

Green Laundromat Boston exercises the utmost care in processing items entrusted to us and utilizes processes that, in our opinion, are best suited to the nature and condition of each individual item. However, we cannot assume liability for weaknesses or inherent defects in materials that are not readily apparent prior to processing. This applies particularly, but not exclusively, to suede, leather, silk, satin, double-faced fabrics, vinyl, polyurethane, etc. Liability also applies to embellishments, buckles, belts, beads, buttons, and sequins. We cannot guarantee against color loss or shrinkage or damage to weak or delicate fabrics. Count discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours. Green Laundromat Boston reserves the right to decline any responsibility for these items if washed. Please always use a separate bag for dry cleaning, as we request in our FAQs and during checkout. It makes it easy for all of us. Thank you.

Green Laundromat Boston reserves the right to change these terms at any time and refuse service to any customer should a dispute arise. All our operational information, such as pricing and hours of operation, can be found on our website.

Green Laundromat Boston also reserves the right to cancel any order and issue a full refund of any money spent on that order if there is a pricing error or website glitch that led to incorrect payment amounts received. Green Laundromat Boston is also not responsible for any monthly services initiated by a user. It is the user’s sole responsibility to start and stop these services, and any failure to do so will not result in a refund from Green Laundromat Boston. The user is responsible for canceling monthly services, which can be easily accessed under the “My Plans” tab when logged in.

Due to unpredictable weather conditions at certain times of the year, Green Laundromat Boston reserves the right to cancel any pickup or delivery schedule for the safety of drivers. Customers will be contacted as soon as possible to arrange a future pickup/delivery schedule. Every effort will be made to honor the original pickup and delivery schedule before resorting to a schedule change.
